In America, it’s a little different. Instead of giving out a lot of redenvelopes,<br />
you may just give it to friend’s kids, or maybe don’t<br />
give any at all!<br />
In America, you may not have any vacation for Chinese New<br />
Year. Maybe just a long weekend after the Week of Chinese<br />
New Year for President’s day.<br />
In America, schools literally do almost nothing for Chinese<br />
New Year at all! (Some schools do do something.) It’s up to the<br />
teacher to decide what to do.<br />
Like my teacher just showed us some videos. But I know another<br />
teacher actually let the class make crafts and listen to traditional<br />
Chinese New Year Stories for Chinese New Year.<br />
In America, malls don’t really do anything for Chinese New<br />
Year. They sometimes just hang up a few decorations, or do<br />
nothing at all. I think that’s because there are just less Chinese<br />
people around, so they won’t. Some restaurants run by Chinese<br />
do put up decorations.<br />
In America, restaurants don’t really do anything unless it’s<br />
a Chinese Restaurants, though sometimes restaurants put up<br />
small decorations, though they don’t really do much.<br />
In conclusion, both places have different ways of celebrating<br />
Chinese New Year. But both still celebrate alike too. They<br />
are different and same, but both celebrate uniquely and surely.<br />
