Friends’ School is a school with a difference.
Small, vibrant, and located in the
heart of Saffron Walden, Friends’ is a
place where each child feels truly valued.
We welcome students of all faiths and offer
education for students aged 3-18 with
boarding from age 11.
The school has an excellent record of
achievement at both GCSE and A Level,
with a wide choice of subject options
available. There is an extensive programme
of extra-curricular activities in
both the Junior and Senior School and a
schedule of exciting weekend activities
for boarders. There is also a full timetable
of fixtures for those who enjoy playing
team sports.
Pastoral care throughout the school is
excellent because the staff really do know
each pupil well and there is always a
listening ear or a helping hand. Friends’
has a number of mini buses which serve
the surrounding area, from Cambridge
to Royston, Bishop’s Stortford to Great
Dunmow and also Audley End station,
Saffron Walden’s closest train station.
