Bizarre experience
Hydration areas were strategically
placed along the route for easy access for
the participants.
The fun in running
The program start at about 4:00
am, with the UST Salinggawi dance
troupe and Yellow Jackets energizing the
Thomasian spirit, and ended at about
8:00 am.
One of the highlights of the event
is that it would the first time that this
project would occur outside of the
university. Hence, this brings more
excitement towards the participants as
they are about to run across the highway
of Macapagal Boulevard.
It was obvious in the looks of the
NSTP faculty that they were glad with the
outcome of the project. Though a
sponsor had backed out, the whole
program was a success.
As for the students, despite the
fact that this event is part of the final
requirement, students had enjoyed and
was delighted with their experience in
this charity fun run. Groupmates,
blockmates and friends, even with their
pets, were given the chance to bond in
this event in a healthy and fit manner.
Regardless of their exhaustion,
participants were happy and satisfied
knowing that they are able to help people
through the Unending Race.
This successful event would not be
possible if it weren’t for not only the
NSTP organization but also for the
participants to actively join the Unending
Race.
