Both, needy Malaysian and International students should take advantage of the affordable medical and non-medical degree programmes offered by the AIMST University. “My dream is to develop this university as a world-class university with excellence in teaching and research,<br />
and to provide services for the wellbeing of the society and the humanity.”<br />
In short time, <strong>AIMST</strong> has made a noticeable<br />
impact in terms of high quality in the<br />
education industry. I am proud to tell you<br />
that <strong>AIMST</strong> is well-equipped with the<br />
‘state-of-the-art’ facilities for the teaching<br />
and research in medical and non-medical<br />
domains.<br />
In order to grow further, we are putting-inefforts<br />
to enhance the quality of our various<br />
biomedical and non-biomedical degree<br />
programmes by ensuring that the courses<br />
remains affordable for local and foreign<br />
students.<br />
Currently, <strong>AIMST</strong> receives about 53 - 57%<br />
extra applications (apart from the quota given<br />
by the Ministry of Education) from students<br />
for the admission in biomedical degree<br />
programmes. However, biotechnology<br />
degree programmes and other degree<br />
programmes are also becoming popular<br />
among the students.<br />
On this occasion of the 16th anniversary<br />
of the <strong>AIMST</strong>, I am glad to inform you that<br />
as of October 2015, <strong>AIMST</strong> has produced<br />
1184 medical doctors, 604 biotechnology<br />
graduates, 320 dentist, 422 pharmacist, 140<br />
nurses, 124 physiotherapists, and several<br />
engineering and business graduates.<br />
My dream is to develop this university as<br />
a world-class university with excellence<br />
in teaching and research, and to provide<br />
services for the wellbeing of the society and<br />
the humanity.<br />
Sincerely, I want to thank all donors,<br />
supporters and well-wishers of the <strong>AIMST</strong>.<br />
This book highlights the unique architecture,<br />
world-class infrastructure, facilities available,<br />
and the natural beauty of the <strong>AIMST</strong> campus.<br />
I want to thank Senior Associate Professor<br />
Dr. Subhash Bhore for his efforts in bringing<br />
out this book to commemorate the <strong>AIMST</strong>’s<br />
16th birthday. I honorably thank all the staff<br />
of the <strong>AIMST</strong> for their contribution which<br />
helped in elevating <strong>AIMST</strong> to this level.<br />
