I would regard the AIMST University (AIMST)
as ‘Divinity of Knowledge’. Based on my
understanding, I think, AIMST’s growth was
very phenomenal in the past ten years and still
the trend is going on.
I am very happy and feel proud; because,
I really enjoyed working at AIMST. The
working experience with four eminent Vice-
Chancellors during my term (2004 till 2014)
at Chancellery has added a real value and
strength to my career. This experience has
also heightened my confidence to take new
challenges of my new responsibilities after
posting at the newly established ‘Centre for
Postgraduate Studies’. I truly enjoy working
in a multi-racial and multi-cultural workforce.
At AIMST, there is always a challenge and I
am honored to be a part of the talented,
experienced and enthusiastic team that never
compromises on quality of education. We
should keep the momentum to excel further.

I am honored to write this brief write-up
about AIMST University. I have joined AIMST
University in 2002. We have since then,
developed and encompassed to the catering
needs of local and international students
via our vision. Congratulations to AIMST
University and the support team! I wish to
thank my fellow colleagues who continue
to deliver and support in endeavoring high
academic standards. I am proud to shout
out that I am one of the pioneer staffs of
the AIMST University. I have completed 13
years with AIMST University. AIMST is the
best; I have no second thought in my mind.

My journey with AIMST’s Faculty of Dentistry
(FOD) started when its first batch students
were in final year. Since then, I have seen the
accomplishment and exponential growth of
AIMST’s Dental Centre to its present form as
a full-fledged, functional dental setup. It is a
pride to mention that AIMST Dental Centre
is a pioneer dental institution in Malaysia’s
Private education sector.
At university level, I have observed increase
in student intake in these years signifying the
positive attitude of general public towards
this university. Due to the holistic approach
provided towards education, AIMST attracts
students from other countries too. Besides
that, it is noteworthy to mention that I have
enjoyed the beauty of this clean and green
campus.
At this juncture, I would like to express my
happiness/wishes towards completion of
fifteen years journey of this university and
seek the support of all AIMSTers for its
glorious future.
Name: Ms. Selvamalar Nasaratnam

I joined AIMST University in May 2001 and
have served almost 14 years. As a lecturer for
IT subjects, I joined the Centre of Foundation
and Matriculation Studies (CFMS) currently
known as SGFS. Later, I was promoted to
faculty and till date have been serving as a
Senior Lecturer for Faculty of Business and
Management. During my 14 years at AIMST,
it has been an incredible avenue for me to
learn and practice. I had the opportunity
to grow in my area of teaching and take
up administrative roles. Working at AIMST
has given me the flexibility to develop my
skills in an independent manner and as part
of a team. At times I felt challenged and
stretched, wondering how I was going to
learn it all, and yet, as with any new learning
process, one skill built on another. Thank you
AIMST for giving me opportunities to use my
skills and talent.

I have the pleasure of working with AIMST
University since 2009. AIMST is aiming to
become a premier private university in the
country and region. I strongly believe that
we can achieve the university’s goals if every
staff works as a team. I am proud to be a part
of AIMST family. My area of specialization
is public health and obstetric nursing. As
an academician, the most that excites
me is nothing more than making student
understands the richness of experience as
a nurse. To me, a competent nurse is to be
able to function in multi-professional roles
to promote, maintain, and restore health
and wellness among diverse individuals
and communities. I felt exhilarating when I
obtained the first PRGS grant from KPT and
it was a really AIMST experience for me to
embark on my project. In fact, it was such a
great opportunity for me which I will never
forget in AIMST. Now I am looking forward
to have my product patented and hopefully
this product will be able to provide a good
alternative for immobilized patients with
elimination needs. I wish to continue serving
AIMST and provide my very best towards
teaching and research. Lastly, I want to
highlight that I am really happy because of
the support given by the University.

Working at AIMST university is really
interesting. A big olympic size swimming
pool, synthetic track next to beautiful lotus
lake, indoor and outdoor game facilities and
well-equiped gym are really good. Students
and staff like these facilities and sports
complex is always crowded. Good thing is
that all students and staff are very gentle
and hence working here becomes more
enjoyable. I also like the security system of
the university, we all feel safe in the campus.
