SENIOR LOVE FUND
During the celebration of our 40th anniversary at Mature Services, our
Board of Directors took the initiative to create an endowment fund with
the Akron Community Foundation to provide for the future of our efforts
called the Senior Love Fund. Recognizing that public funds will not be
able to keep pace with the demand for services to support older adults’
desire to age in place, the Senior Love Fund serves as a symbol of solidity
and permanence in the communities we serve. Donations to the
endowment do not fund programs directly, but are invested to generate
income that provides annual support for the programs in perpetuity.
This allows Mature Services to be more sustainable and less reliant on
grant and government funding.
How can I support the endowment?
We are currently accepting donations for our inaugural year of the Senior
Love Fund. Gifts may be current, pledged, or planned gifts such as cash,
real estate, stocks, memorials, trusts, and insurance benefits. The Senior
Love Fund will respect your wishes so your gifts can have a permanent
impact on the welfare of present and future older adults.
