I’m in at that moment, and that can be very
radical, like anything from old Hollywood to
ASAP Rocky and sometimes even both. I
have fun with it.

composer. Should we be looking forward to
a collaboration in a near future?
We inspire and support each other, I give my
honest opinion on what he does and vice versa.
So even though it’s not official, you could
say that we’re always collaborating in one
way or another. Right now Nabil is working
on a soundtrack for a feature film here in NY
called 37, and he likes to involve me in his
creative process just like I involve him in
mine. But to answer your question, yes there
will definitely be a music collaboration eventually.
I feel like that’s inevitable, because
we’ve been best friends for more than ten
years. We just get each other.
How would you say that being in love and
getting success affects your creating of
music, or any form of art?
I find inspiration in anything that happens to
me, whether it being a good thing or a tragedy.
I am such a dreamer that I will create magic
for myself in any kind of situation. I can
romanticize heartache just as much I do with
love. I think that comes with being an idealist
dreamer, it’s just what I do. I am a story
maker and I never really write “happy” or
“sad” songs, they’re much more abstract and
there’s no basic line or a punch line in my stories.
They can be happy and sad at the same
time, day and night, feminine and masculine
at the same time. It’s never that black or white,
that’s how I see the world.
What’s next for Tatiana?
I never really know what’s next to be honest,
I am working on a couple of films that I really
can’t talk about at the moment. What I do
know is that when I set up my mind on something
I go for it. Like when I had my meeting
with Luc Besson regarding “transporter
refueled”, I had already made up my mind
on landing that role and that’s what I was
projecting. I simply acted as if I had already
gotten the job. I feel that if I focus too much
on the future and on what’s coming I miss
out on the present, I like to stay in the Now
and make the best out of that. I surrender to
the path that the Universe has set up for me,
and I love watching that path unfold before
my feet as I walk.
By the end of our meeting, my crush on
Tatiana had developed into a full blown
infatuation.
