FitNation Pool<br />

1655 Nations Drive, <strong>Gurnee</strong><br />

This swimming facility, located<br />

within FitNation, is state of the art<br />

complete with family changing<br />

rooms, a temperature controlled<br />

family viewing area <strong>and</strong> water at an<br />

ideal 86 degrees. Just right for little<br />

swimmers!<br />

Hunt Club <strong>Park</strong> Aquatic Center<br />

900 North Hunt Club Road, <strong>Gurnee</strong><br />

Our beautiful, outdoor Aquatic Center<br />

is perfect for lessons in the summer.<br />

The water temperature is kept at 85<br />

degrees.<br />

Warren O’Plaine Campus<br />

500 North O’Plaine Road, <strong>Gurnee</strong><br />

This pool is great for our Learn to<br />

Swim <strong>Program</strong> offered on weekends<br />

from September through May. This<br />

spacious, six lane, 25 yard pool is<br />

equipped with a diving board <strong>and</strong><br />

deep water to expose children to<br />

swimming in 12 feet of water. Water<br />

temperature is kept at 80 degrees<br />

which is just right for swimming laps.<br />

Things You Should Know:<br />

■ Residents of High School <strong>District</strong> #121 pay resident rates for all programs held<br />

at Warren High School. Hunt Club <strong>Park</strong> Aquatic Center summer programs<br />

<strong>and</strong> FitNation programs still follow <strong>Gurnee</strong> <strong>Park</strong> <strong>District</strong> residency boundaries.<br />

■ When using the pools, showers <strong>and</strong> lockers will be available for your use. If<br />

you wish to use the lockers, please bring your own lock <strong>and</strong> remove it at the<br />

end of your activity each day. Neither the <strong>Gurnee</strong> <strong>Park</strong> <strong>District</strong> nor the school<br />

are responsible for lost or stolen items.<br />

St<strong>and</strong>ards<br />

<strong>Gurnee</strong> <strong>Park</strong> <strong>District</strong> provides<br />

lifeguards licensed by Jeff<br />

Ellis & Associates, the premier<br />

lifeguard licensing body in the<br />

world. Our goal is to provide<br />

a safe, customer-friendly<br />

aquatic environment for all.<br />

■ Registration: Due to staffing requirements, all registrations for swim classes<br />

must be made at least two days prior to the start of class.<br />

■ Make-Up Policy: Missed classes cannot be made up <strong>and</strong> are nonrefundable.<br />

Please speak to the manager-on-duty at the pool on the day<br />

of your lesson if you have any questions. In the event that the <strong>Gurnee</strong><br />

<strong>Park</strong> <strong>District</strong> cancels classes due to bad weather, mechanical failure<br />

or scheduling conflict, you will be notified <strong>and</strong> at your next class we will<br />

announce if a make-up class or refund will be offered.<br />
