Additional Degree Offerings<br />
Master of Science programs are offered in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, and Marketing Analytics.<br />
Students who begin one program and wish to change to another program (i.e., begin in the MS and decide to pursue an<br />
MBA), must obtain the approval of the person responsible for admissions in the receiving program. The director of the<br />
program they are exiting should also be notified of the proposed switch. A <strong>student</strong> may be asked to complete a new<br />
application.<br />
Student Status.<br />
Enrollment Verification<br />
Verification of enrollment for matriculated and non-matriculated Simon <strong>student</strong>s are based on the following each<br />
quarter:<br />
-Full-time = 9 or more credit hours<br />
-For Fall Quarter - Students registered for courses in the Pre-Fall and Fall Term terms will be considered full-time<br />
if they register for at least 12 credit hours combined in the two Fall terms. Students registered for courses in Fall<br />
term are considered full time if they are registered for at least 9 credit hours.<br />
-Half-time = 6-8 credit hours<br />
-Part-time = 5 or less credit hours<br />
Students needing verification or confirmation of their enrollment status for loans, health insurance, or scholarships, may<br />
request an Enrollment Verification through the National Student Clearinghouse. Visit the University Registrar’s Office<br />
web site for further information at http://www.rochester.edu/registrar/verifications.html<br />
Change of Student Status<br />
MBA/MS <strong>student</strong>s may request a change of status from part-time to full-time or from full- time to part-time. A change of<br />
status from full-time to part-time will usually be granted. Students should be aware of conditions surrounding such a<br />
change from full-time to part-time:<br />
-Student will lose all merit-based tuition benefits awarded through Simon Business School;<br />
-Student will still be responsible for satisfactorily completing the Business Communication sequence if they have<br />
not completed the core courses as a full-time cohort <strong>student</strong>;<br />
-Student will also lose all University medical coverage;<br />
-International <strong>student</strong>s must contact the International Services Office (ISO) prior to making a change to<br />
determine how a change of status might affect their visa.<br />
A change of status from part-time to full-time will usually be granted if the <strong>student</strong> is in good academic standing at<br />
Simon Business School. Note that full-time <strong>student</strong>s are required to pay at least the mandatory portion of the<br />
University’s Health Fee and that the activity fee for full-time <strong>student</strong>s is higher than the fee for part-time <strong>student</strong>s. Also,
