Tutoring Services
In addition to consulting teaching assistants for help with coursework, some students elect to hire tutors. A list of tutors
is available in the Office of Student Engagement. Tutors are second-year MBA students who provide academic assistance
for a fee on an hourly basis. MBA students must meet certain grade requirements to serve as tutors. As such, they are
qualified to tutor in core and elective courses. Tutors generally charge $10-$15 per hour. Students are strongly
encouraged to make use of tutoring services as soon as they determine the need for additional help. It is the student’s
responsibility to contract tutoring services. The Office of Student Engagement does not train or evaluate tutors. Should
you encounter a problem with a tutor, however, please contact office.
