Travel Lunch Bunch – Senior Program – 55+
Bring friends, meet friends, and make friends! You will never eat alone or
worry about traffic with this fun senior social group! Adults 55 and up may
join us each month as we travel out of town to a great restaurant.
September Lunch – Table 86 by Hines Ward – Seven Fields, PA
Enjoy lunch from a delicious made from scratch menu. Enjoy Butcher
Block burgers, seafood, pastas, steaks, and desserts. Guaranteed to have
something to satisfy everyone’s taste buds. All attendees will order off the
menu and pay on their own. Price includes transportation only.

October Lunch – Shakespeare’s Restaurant & Pub –
Ellwood City, PA
Located on the 1st floor of the castle, the restaurant features American Style
cuisine with a medieval theme. Enjoy the Pecan Chicken Salad or a Mediterranean
Salad topped with Salmon. Castle Burger, Open Faced Prime Rib or
Beer Battered Fish all served with Coleslaw or Broccoli Salad. Chicken Pot Pie,
Apple Bourbon Salmon or Pasta Primavera all served with House Salad or Soup
du Jour are just a few of the lunch items to choose from. All attendees will
order off the menu and pay on their own. Price includes transportation only.

November – Girasole - Italian Restaurant –
Walnut Street Shopping, Shadyside, PA
Start with a bowl of Zuppa del Griorno and add Spinach and Ricotta
Ravioli or Mezza Rigatoni all served with a house salad. Or try the
Fett’Unta Di Salmone~ olive bread soaked in olive oil, grilled salmon,
asparagus. Be sure to save room for dessert! All attendees will order off
the menu and pay on their own. After lunch we will take about 1 hour to
shop on Walnut Street. Price includes transportation only.

Community Connection Programs
This section of programs has been established to offer Hempfield
Township residents informational sessions and one-time instructional
classes. Community Connection Programs are always free to Hempfield
Township residents and $10.00 to Non-Residents. Pre-registration is
required for all programs.
Ask Oscar
These days everyone has a dog! They are becoming a part of our family
structure. They need just as much care and understanding as our own
children. Learn what is best for them and break through the
misconceptions with a question and answer seminar about training,
nutrition, vet care, exercise and topics that are important to you.
Ed DeLancey from Learning to Lead Dog Training will take the time and
help you to love and understand your dog the right way.
