member of the President’s Circle since 2011. Thank you, Sonia, for all
you do for RPAC and the REALTOR ® Family!
CR: How has RPAC enriched your career in real estate?
SA: RPAC allows me to meet so many people on a national level who
believe in the importance of RPAC just like me, and who care about
ti it a A ® and homeowners.
CR Magazine: Why is it important to you to give to RPAC?
Sonia Anaya: It is important for me to give to RPAC to ensure that
we as REALTORS ® are able to continue to do what we love, and to
protect property rights across the country.
CR: How did you get started with your history of giving?
SA: It all started one day when I received a call from Sheryl Grider
Whitehurst asking me if I would be interested in becoming a Major
Investor. Without even thinking about it, I said yes! Little did I know
that was just the beginning of the best investment I could make.
CR: Why do you continue to give to RPAC?
SA: Giving to RPAC is not a choice for me; it's
more like a necessity. It's an investment in
our industry that every REALTOR ® should do.
CR: Do you have an RPAC-related story or
“moment” that reinforced why you give?
SA: It happened when I went to D.C. for the
t ti a tad
REALTORS ® come together to advocate for
our industry.
CR: What does the RPAC Hall of Fame
mean to you?
SA: Being in the RPAC Hall of Fame is a
constant reminder of how blessed I am
to be in a position to be able to invest
annually in RPAC so that we can continue
to advocate for REALTORS ® .
CR: What would you say to someone who
was considering investing in RPAC, but not
yet an investor?
SA: I would urge every REALTOR ® to give
at least their fair share to RPAC so we
a ti t it t
shouldn't be viewed as a donation, but as
an investment in our industry.
