Antiques Fair
The Tatton Park Antiques, Decorative
and Art Fair is a three day antiques
spectacular from 16th - 18th September,
filling its stately setting with antiques
and decorative pieces to browse and buy.
Chock full of collectors’ items, period
pieces and original art from forty
specialist exhibitors, handpicked from
the Midlands and North of England,
there’s a range to suit any budget.
Collectors, exhibitors and interior design
aficionados can pick up that perfect
piece, whether it’s a £20 paperweight or
a £20,000 original L.S. Lowry drawing.
Among this year’s highlights is an
outstanding collection of Art Deco
porcelain ‘dancing girls’. TV personality
and dealer Mike Melody will be showing
a range of farmhouse and country
furniture from the 17th, 18th and 19th
centuries.

Conwy Feast
Gwledd Conwy Feast is a celebration of
food, music and art, coming to the
riverside town of Conwy, North Wales
from the 21st – 23rd October.
Now in its thirteenth year, the festival
expects to attract over 20,000 visitors.
Brand new for 2016 is a pop-up surf and
turf restaurant, dishing up local lamb
with Conwy mussels and Great Orme
lobster.
The Mermaid bar will be serving local
beers, plus Champagne, wine and
Prosecco. The nearby music marquee
will host two days and nights of music
from some of North Wales’ finest.
Conwy Feast is also home to the biggest
craft event in North Wales. This year local
makers will be collaborating to bring
some truly imaginative pieces. You can
also get stuck in at crafts like papercutting,
pottery and textiles at a
workshop.
Festival-goers can get into the kitchen
and rattle the festival’s pots and pans at
the Kitchen Academy. Host and TV chef
Melvyn Thomas will lead you through
some quick and easy new recipes. You
don’t even have to wash up afterwards!

Antiques at Arley Hall
The bi-annual Antiques and Fine Art Fair is back at Arley Hall from 2nd – 4th
September, with all manner of decorative antiques and original artworks to
delight collectors, aficionados and window shoppers.
The period grandeur of Arley Hall near Northwich provides the ideal setting for a
day spent browsing pieces which span five centuries. There’ll be antiques, vintage
wares, decorative items, and fine art on show, all from 30 trusted suppliers from
around the UK, hand-selected by the event organisers, Galloway Fairs. Expect
treats including antique maps and prints, clocks, watches, antique and
contemporary paintings and bronze sculpture.
The fair is held within the historic Main Hall and Tudor Barn. Arley Hall has ample
free car parking, a delightful tearoom and beautiful stately gardens, which include
Arley’s renowned double herbaceous border.
There will be a wide range of items for sale to suit every taste and pocket, so you
can be sure to find a unique and special piece for your home.
