Antiques Fair<br />

The Tatton Park Antiques, Decorative<br />

and Art Fair is a three day antiques<br />

spectacular from 16th - 18th September,<br />

filling its stately setting with antiques<br />

and decorative pieces to browse and buy.<br />

Chock full of collectors’ items, period<br />

pieces and original art from forty<br />

specialist exhibitors, handpicked from<br />

the Midlands and North of England,<br />

there’s a range to suit any budget.<br />

Collectors, exhibitors and interior design<br />

aficionados can pick up that perfect<br />

piece, whether it’s a £20 paperweight or<br />

a £20,000 original L.S. Lowry drawing.<br />

Among this year’s highlights is an<br />

outstanding collection of Art Deco<br />

porcelain ‘dancing girls’. TV personality<br />

and dealer Mike Melody will be showing<br />

a range of farmhouse and country<br />

furniture from the 17th, 18th and 19th<br />

centuries.<br />

Conwy Feast<br />

Gwledd Conwy Feast is a celebration of<br />

food, music and art, coming to the<br />

riverside town of Conwy, North Wales<br />

from the 21st – 23rd October.<br />

Now in its thirteenth year, the festival<br />

expects to attract over 20,000 visitors.<br />

Brand new for <strong>2016</strong> is a pop-up surf and<br />

turf restaurant, dishing up local lamb<br />

with Conwy mussels and Great Orme<br />

lobster.<br />

The Mermaid bar will be serving local<br />

beers, plus Champagne, wine and<br />

Prosecco. The nearby music marquee<br />

will host two days and nights of music<br />

from some of North Wales’ finest.<br />

Conwy Feast is also home to the biggest<br />

craft event in North Wales. This year local<br />

makers will be collaborating to bring<br />

some truly imaginative pieces. You can<br />

also get stuck in at crafts like papercutting,<br />

pottery and textiles at a<br />

workshop.<br />

Festival-goers can get into the kitchen<br />

and rattle the festival’s pots and pans at<br />

the Kitchen Academy. Host and TV chef<br />

Melvyn Thomas will lead you through<br />

some quick and easy new recipes. You<br />

don’t even have to wash up afterwards!<br />

Antiques at Arley Hall<br />

The bi-annual Antiques and Fine Art Fair is back at Arley Hall from 2nd – 4th<br />

September, with all manner of decorative antiques and original artworks to<br />

delight collectors, aficionados and window shoppers.<br />

The period grandeur of Arley Hall near Northwich provides the ideal setting for a<br />

day spent browsing pieces which span five centuries. There’ll be antiques, vintage<br />

wares, decorative items, and fine art on show, all from 30 trusted suppliers from<br />

around the UK, hand-selected by the event organisers, Galloway Fairs. Expect<br />

treats including antique maps and prints, clocks, watches, antique and<br />

contemporary paintings and bronze sculpture.<br />

The fair is held within the historic Main Hall and Tudor Barn. Arley Hall has ample<br />

free car parking, a delightful tearoom and beautiful stately gardens, which include<br />

Arley’s renowned double herbaceous border.<br />

There will be a wide range of items for sale to suit every taste and pocket, so you<br />

can be sure to find a unique and special piece for your home.<br />
