Implement a strategic and sustained communications strategy that empowers<br />
individuals, communities and service providers to become obesity aware and<br />
equipped to change, with a particular focus on families with children in the early<br />
years.<br />
The family and the broader community play a major role in shaping behaviour, and it is there<strong>for</strong>e<br />
essential that everyone can access in<strong>for</strong>mation on making healthier choices and keeping healthy.<br />
Currently, individuals are regularly receiving a vast amount of conflicting and at times contradictory<br />
in<strong>for</strong>mation; even scientific in<strong>for</strong>mation may often be presented in a confusing way. This Policy aims
