Jugra, one of the old historical royal towns within
the district of Selangor, Malaysia, has lots to offer
travellers. Most of them are historical sites such as
the old palace, the old jail of which is now a museum,
and the royals tombs.
Jugra was the royal capital of Selangor when back
in 1875, Sultan Abdul Samad built the Jugra Palace
and lived there. The place was strategic as it was
near the river mouth and the Jugra Hill offered lookout
points and protection.
