Jugra Hill had been an important landmark to navigators navigating the Straits of Malacca and it was known by many foreign navigators as Parcelar Hill. The Chinese, Arab, and European sailors use Jugra Hill as one of their landmarks as they came in to trade. Now a lighthouse sits on top of Jugra Hill offering assistance to sailors these days. >Jugra Hill lighthouse.
55 Jugra Insitu Museum The Jugra Insitu Museum is located at the foot of Jugra Hill. It is a historical site of what once used to be a police station and prison; constructed in 1875 by Captain Harry Charles Syers, a police officer entrusted with carrying out the rule of law. >The Jugra Insitu Museum built around the area of the old police station and jail.
