‘Connie’: authentic, period scale model by Lockheed, the US aircraft<br />
manufacturer of the fabled ‘Constellation’ airliner, beloved by those<br />
who had the wonderful good fortune to travel across the Atlantic in a<br />
‘Connie’ during the airliner’s heyday in the 1950s. Of lightweight aviation<br />
aluminium construction with stamped Lockheed reference numbers to<br />
the underside of the fuselage. Mounted on original aluminium display<br />
stand, signed ‘Lockheed’ and bearing original Trans World Airlines livery.<br />
