Classic Car Meet<br />
On Sunday 2nd October, the Swaffham Trade Association<br />
invited owners of classic cars to have a "Meet" on the<br />
Market Place car park. The weather was predicted to<br />
be blue skies, but we all woke up to rain that morning.<br />
Undeterred, by 1030 the sun was out, and the classic cars<br />
started to arrive not 1, not 5 but 26 of them including<br />
some wonderful examples of a Rolls Royce, Bentley,<br />
Austin A30, Morgans, MG, Rover, Cortina, The General<br />
Lee, Mustang, to name a few. Plenty of people came to<br />
admire the cars and chat to the owners, but even though<br />
it was just for a few hours it was a great day.<br />

music by Fakenham Town Band, Oasis Church singers,<br />
