7.7 Changing the chemical bottle (optional)
Carefully unscrew the cap, remove the cap and metal straw assembly.
Take the old bottle out of the cage and replace with the full bottle.
Remove the cap from the new bottle, insert the metal straw and screw the
cap to the bottle.
7.8 Display
The display panel of the Pulpmatic Ultima & Eco will provide useful feedback in the event of a
problem. The control system has a number of defined fault codes which are itemised on page 29 of
this guide.
7.9 Water tank
This machine has an inbuilt water tank. This water tank will automatically fill with clean cold water
from the hose fitting. This machine is fitted with an “AA” air gap & WRAS approved water delivery
system. This ensures that water used in the machine is isolated inside the machine and cannot
return into the host water system. Throughout the cutting cycle a defined amount of water is used
to soak, chop and flush away the macerated pulp. A final rinse, including a sanitising agent if fitted,
will clean the internal parts of the machine. The water tank will continue to fill throughout the
operation of the machine.
The machine will be ready to use for the next load once the tank is full. (Green Ready light ON.)
7.10 Spray head
Fitted to the underside of the automatic lid is the chamber spray head. Water
used throughout the cycle enters the machine here. It is normal for the
underside of the lid to be covered in water droplets after each cycle. As the lid
opens this water may run onto the bezel and chamber seal which is normal and
will not impair the operation of the machine.
