8.2 Lid and chamber seal<br />
The lid area and rubber seal of the machine must be cleaned on a daily basis. Use a mild<br />
non-abrasive detergent on a soft cloth such as “Hygenex Surface Spray Sanitiser” to clean<br />
these surfaces.<br />

Press the footswitch to open the lid.<br />

Turn OFF the electrical power using the local electrical isolator; this will stop the lid<br />
closing automatically or false activation of the START sensor during the cleaning<br />
process.<br />

Clean the upper and lower sections of the lid, paying attention to the lower outer rim of<br />
the lid.<br />
<br />
Clean the rubber chamber seal; both the upper and lower faces.<br />
<br />
Once the unit has been cleaned, turn the power ON; allow the lid to close<br />
automatically.<br />
Clean lower outer rim of lid once a day.<br />
Clean rubber seal once a day.<br />
The lower outer rim of the lid (indicated above) and the chamber seal must be<br />
cleaned every day. This will ensure the machine remains clean, eliminates accidental<br />
spills and bacterial spores<br />
