Private Client Team gains returning solicitor
We are delighted to welcome back solicitor Caitlin Lewis, to the Private Client
team following her maternity leave. Caitlin joined the firm in 2011 as a
qualified barrister and cross-qualified as a solicitor in 2014, initially working
within our Family Law team.
“Our clients will benefit from Caitlin’s experience in dealing with
sensitive matters with empathy and kindness” Damian Lines, Partner
and Head of the Private Client team commented.
“Discussing mental incapacity or considering death is never easy,
and so having an understanding and caring solicitor working with
you through important decisions makes a real difference. I am
thrilled that Caitlin will be doing just that.”
Our Private Client team has now grown to six lawyers, enabling us to offer a
high quality, and personal, service to our clients.
Trade that works with Bron Afon
Unemployed people who have been through a
construction site training programme run by Bron Afon
are being praised by local building contractors.
Trade That Works teaches people practical skills for working on a
building site along with giving them expert advice on writing a
CV and interview skills.
The boss at one building site in Torfaen said he was ‘blown away’
by the standard of the candidates who had been through the
course.
He recruited four of them to refurbish the old Greyhound pub in
Pontypool into four flats and a business unit for Bron Afon as part
of a joint project with Torfaen Council funded by the Welsh
Government’s Vibrant and Viable Places programme.
Trade That Works is just one of the courses run by Bron Afon that
is increasing the skills of local residents to be better employees.
Three of the men who did Trade That Works with
Bron Afon stood outside Old Greyhound Pub
