Amelia works as part of the NUH
Obstetrics team – and was put
forward for NUHonours for her commitment
to supporting trainee anaesthetists completing
their training on a less than full-time (LTFT) basis.
“Dr Banks’ commitment to the LTFT trainees is
truly amazing and the level of care she delivers is
truly above and beyond,” her nomination read.
Stephanie works on Ward A23
at QMC, where emergency
gynaecology treatment is provided – and as
part of her role, she provides a lot of support to
student nurses.
Benita Brear, Matron for Gynaecology
Services, said: “Whenever I speak to students
they cannot speak highly enough of their
placement, which is a testament to the hard
work Steph puts in.”
Donna has been part of NUH’s
Youth Service since it began
18 years ago – and she was put forward for
NUHonours by the mother of a young man
who has regularly accessed the service.
“Donna and her team are always positive and
inclusive,” the nomination read. “They are such
good role models for the young people.”
