Lisa is PA to NUH’s Chief Nurse
Mandie Sunderland – though it
was work she did on a secondment that led to
her being nominated for NUHonours.
For 14 months, Lisa took on the role of
Education and Training lead – and played a vital
part in helping the Trust recruit over 60 new
staff in the new role of Ward Administrator.
Terrence was nominated for his
work in supporting our younger
patients – including a girl who has developed a
love of writing through his encouragement.
“She has started to get excited about writing,
and more importantly, she feels so proud to
show off a talent she is only just beginning to
discover,” said NUH colleague Anisah Hussain,
who nominated Terrence.
Karen has worked on maternity
wards at QMC for 13 years and
during that time she’s become regarded by
colleagues as an indispensable part of the
team.
“Karen is the ‘go to’ lady on wards B26 and
C29,” said B26 Deputy Ward Sister Laura
Bratby, who nominated her for this award.
