Whilst the festive period is in full swing,
we wouldn’t usually start thinking about
gym memberships and clean eating until
the New Year… but how about getting
the ball rolling now and signing up to
Skyliner Sports Centre?
Abbeycroft Leisure has been going
from strength to strength this year, with
renovations at its current sites as well as
opening new fitness centres too.
Last month, we introduced the new
facility Trumpington Sport, but for
those of you working or living around
Bury St Edmunds, you’ll be pleased to
hear about their latest project which is
taking place on Moreton Hall.
Skyliner Sports Centre will be a part
of the new Sybil Andrews Academy
School and will be open as of the
end of January. The new gym will
have 45 stations including the
latest cardiovascular, resistance and
functional training equipment as well as
a large free weights area. The Centre
will also house two studios which will run
the much-loved Les Mills classes.
The timetable is already available for
you to view online, so be sure to check
it out. Classes will run seven days a
week and Abbeycroft Leisure will also
be offering virtual classes too. These
are a great way of ensuring you can still
attend your favourite classes, even if
the others are fully booked. The new
site will also have badminton, basketball,
volleyball and netball courts in the main
hall, as well as an all-weather outside
pitch. What’s more… memberships start
at just £19.99, which is certainly not to
be sniffed at!
