The bonus payments set forth in this Schedule shall be paid during the year commencing September 1,<br />

1921. Members of the forces permanently disabled to a less extent than five per cent shall be entitled to a<br />

final pa/ment not exceeding $100. .<br />

Members oi the forces who are at the time of retirement or discharge, or who later become disabled t o<br />

an extent of between five and fourteen per cent may elect to accept a final payment in lieu of the pensions<br />

set forth in this Schedule. The amount of such final payment in cases of disability between five and nine<br />

per cent shall not exceed three hundred dollars and in cases of disability between ten and fourteen per cent<br />

shall not exceed six hundred dollars and shall be determined in accordance with the extent of the disabiity<br />

and its probable duration. Members of the forces permanently disabled between ten and fourteen per<br />
