King's Printer and Controller of Stationery.—The <strong>Canada</strong> Gazette,<br />

published weekly by authority, with occasional supplements and extras, subscription,<br />

$4 per annum payable in advance, single copies, 10 cents each number. Contains<br />

weekly a list of current Government publications, as required by Order in Council<br />

1,522. Judgments of the Board of Railway Commissioners, bi-monthly, $3 per<br />

annum; single copies, 20 cents; Exchequer Court Reports, $4 per annum; Supreme<br />

Court Reports, $3 per annum; Dominion Statutes, <strong>1920</strong>, $4. Acts Public and<br />

Private with amendments to date, 5 cents to-75 cents a copy. Parliamentary Debates,<br />

"Hansard", issued daily during session, French and English, $3 per<br />

session each for House of Commons and Senate Debates, single copies, 5 cents.<br />

Prices of blue-books are in nearly every case printed upon the front cover and<br />

are based practically on the cost of paper and presswork. They may be ordered<br />

direct from the Chief Clerk of Distribution, Department of Public Printing and<br />

Stationery, or through any bookseller in the Dominion.<br />

Mines.—The Department of Mines examines the most important mineral<br />

deposits and sections of geological interest, makes scientific investigations of the<br />

mining and metallurgical industries of <strong>Canada</strong> and carries on exploratory work in<br />

the little-known parts of the country. Detailed reports and geological maps of<br />

mining camps, and maps and notes on explored routes have been published. Memoirs<br />

have also been issued dealing with economic mineral deposits that have a<br />

wide distribution throughout the country. High grade contoured topographical<br />

maps of a number of sections have been issued in recent years. Publications also
