violation of the law.”
Lawful conduct is mandatory for all employees in the Bayer Group and we do not tolerate
infringements of the law. This is set out in Bayerûs global Corporate Compliance Policy,
which contains a strict ban on corruption and anti-competitive practices. It specifically
fosters the creation and safeguarding of fair and respectful working conditions and
contains a clear commitment to respect the legally recognized rights of others.
Every employee is responsible for ensuring that his or her business conduct is legally
compliant. This applies to employees at all levels, in all parts of the Bayer Group and in
all countries.
In 2008, Bayer Thai conducted two local campaigns: one with the focus on the local
çGuidelines on Corporate Responsibilities and the Prevention of Corruption and Briberyé,
and the other one with a focus on çThe Computer Crime Act B.E. 2550 (2007)é. The
employees received invitations to training sessions which were set up to help them
understand the issues involved in both campaigns. This was aimed at preventing any
wrongdoing on the part of Bayer Thaiûs employees.

Bayer Thai has a well-established local compliance organization with inhouse Compliance
Officers providing advice and answering questions related to compliance. Contact details
