Young People’s Activities
6 – 8s Saturday Club
The Trinity Rooms, Stroud GL5 2HZ – opposite the Maternity Hospital
10am - 12pm, £4 per session
Does your child with additional needs or a disability want to meet and play with other
children, but isn’t quite ready or old enough for youth club?
We run once a month parallel to Clare’s Toy Library session so parents and carers can
have a cup of tea and borrow some toys while their child has fun with us. This is a gentle
start for those children who want to make friends and socialise in a supported, safe play
environment. We are quite full now with up to 14 children per session so we have started a
small waiting list. We have different toys and a themed home corner each session, arts and
crafts and snack time.
Allsorts Siblings Group
This group is for non-disabled young people in Allsorts aged 8-18 who
have a brother or sister with disabilities or extra needs. We have a break
together and go on an outing every school holiday.
We have 28 regular members in our sibs group. In February half term we’re off to
Westonbirt by popular request and at Easter we will be trying virtual caving!
Melanie will be running all our children and young people’s activities and events.
