Although we had a busy 2016, we can now take time to reflect back on our accomplishments of last year and look
forward to what is around the next corner. But, we cannot go forward without thanking the Nobles that got us this far.
As we have been blessed with some outstanding leadership, we are grateful for all of the Presidents and other officers that have
served the Provost Guard and as we begin our 31st year will again be led by Dennis Loch, in his second year as our President.
Dennis has been a long time member of the Provost and has worked hard to ensure the success of our unit and we would like to
thank him for stepping up to serve another year as our President.
Also serving as officers for the Provost in 2017 are: Tarzan Hall, First Vice President; Ill. Sir Glenn Sattizahn, PP, Second Vice
President; Terry Boyer, Treasurer; Greg Lewis, PP, Secretary and Ryan Kehm, Unit Director.
Yes, we have had an exciting year with all of the duties we performed including the most visible, the Rajah Circus in Hamburg;
followed by the Pote’s picnic, the Sportsman’s Raffle, the Pretzel Bowl, participating with our fellow MASA-PG Nobles at the
MASA convention in Virginia Beach, plus a few other events that kept us busy.
Plus, we have our own functions including the “Elvis” night in August and the annual Provost Spaghetti dinner in October. In
addition to which, we hold our meetings all throughout the year to make sure that the plans we make are successful.
At this time we would like to express our most sincere thanks and appreciation to outgoing Potentate, the Illustrious Sir Larry
Bortz for his and help and support in 2016. Ill. Sir Larry attended several of our meetings, participated in our functions and was
always willing to lend a hand when necessary. We also are grateful for the support his Lady Barbara showed to all of us. As they
ride off into the sunset, we want to express our deepest wishes for a fruitful future.
We would also like to take this opportunity to extended our best wishes to our new Potentate, Illustrious Sir Dave Evans and his
Lady Sarah for a most successful and
awesome year. We know they have lots
of great things planned and with the
help of all of us, we can make this one
of the greatest years in Rajah‘s history.
So let’s all get behind Ill. Sir Dave and
Lady Sarah and push them over the top
and make 2017 a huge success!
