The default PROTOCOL.INI file created by THINLAPS is only valid all LAN<br />

adapters that can initialize <strong>IBM</strong>TOK.NIF, for example Token Ring adapter for<br />

microchannel adapters, ISA Auto 16/4 Token Ring and ISA Turbo Token Ring<br />

adapter. Some Token Ring adapters, such as the Token Ring 16/4 II adapter,<br />

need the correct value of the shared RAM address space.<br />

The following figure shows the boot diskette CONFIG.SYS file after THINLAPS:<br />
