Five Islands FC has
leaped past United to earn
the second-place title in the
Antigua and Barbuda Football
Association First Division.
On their quest of earning
their qualifications into
the islands Premier Division
Five islands defeated Wadadli
Events Services All
Saints United on Tuesday in
a game ending 2-nil.
Netting the successful
goals for Five Islands were
Yakira Hughes in the 5th
minute and Fernandez Cevante
Sander at the 83rd.
The win has earned them
35 points to day just one
short of leaders Wadadli

3rd with 34 points.
Villa Lions win over
Lion Hill has earned them
some vital points to creep
just one point short of their
nearest rival Ottos Rangers

coming from Michael
Roberts in the 7th and 11th
minutes.
The third game of the day
was between Bendals and
Hill Top who were unable of

game kicking off in Potters
when they take on Ottos
Rangers who will fight
to keep up with the pack.
The second will be Swetes
matchup against First Road,
following which Point West
Ham will travel to Freemansville
who will seek to
maintain their 6th position
in hoped of entering the next
round of matches.
All Saints defeats Christ the
King in School Basketball

All Saints Secondary Senior Girls defeated Christ the
King High School, 18-13 on Tuesday afternoon at the JSC
Sports Complex. Led by Reyanna Regis with 11 points,
ASSS did away with the all girls school.
Timna Phillip and Tobyann Henry both had 4 points in a
losing effort.
In the Mini-girls Primary division, Liberta Primary dominated
J.T. Ambrose, 12-5.
Destiny Francis led the charge for her team with 12 points
while Jannique Blackstock had 5 points.
Jennings Secondary flexed their muscles on St. Joseph’s
Academy, 38-30 in the Senior boys category.
Danny Perez was the leading scorer with 15 points for the
victors while Dalehente Phillip scored 11 for SJA.
