Five Islands FC has<br />

leaped past United to earn<br />

the second-place title in the<br />

Antigua and Barbuda Football<br />

Association First Division.<br />

On their quest of earning<br />

their qualifications into<br />

the islands Premier Division<br />

Five islands defeated Wadadli<br />

Saints United on Tuesday in<br />

a game ending 2-nil.<br />

Netting the successful<br />

goals for Five Islands were<br />

Yakira Hughes in the 5th<br />

minute and Fernandez Cevante<br />

Sander at the 83rd.<br />

The win has earned them<br />

35 points to day just one<br />

short of leaders Wadadli<br />

All Saints defeats Christ the<br />

King in School Basketball<br />

All Saints Secondary Senior Girls defeated Christ the<br />

King High School, 18-13 on Tuesday afternoon at the JSC<br />

Sports Complex. Led by Reyanna Regis with 11 points,<br />

ASSS did away with the all girls school.<br />

Timna Phillip and Tobyann Henry both had 4 points in a<br />

losing effort.<br />

In the Mini-girls Primary division, Liberta Primary dominated<br />

J.T. Ambrose, 12-5.<br />

Destiny Francis led the charge for her team with 12 points<br />

while Jannique Blackstock had 5 points.<br />

Jennings Secondary flexed their muscles on St. Joseph’s<br />

Academy, 38-30 in the Senior boys category.<br />

Danny Perez was the leading scorer with 15 points for the<br />

victors while Dalehente Phillip scored 11 for SJA.
