also back up to AA grade.
Congratulations to the both
competitors.
Our usual stiff breeze showed
up on Sunday, but at least it
made the day a lot cooler.
The second 50 of the 100 target
Cut Price Meats championship
was shot with Craig O’Neill
putting his name on this years
sash. He scored the only
100/100. Dave Dundon from the
Gold Coast took out first AA
grade with 99/100. B grade was
won by George Petrou with
104/108, with Ron Black taking
out C grade with 87/100. Both
competitors are members of
Toowoomba club.
The final event for the weekend
was the 50 target skeet doubles
championship and this was
won by Nigel Hughes from
Caboolture club with an outstanding
50/50, well shot and
beautiful to watch.
The Albert Shield was contested
again between the Toowoomba
club and the Gold Coast club
with the home club winning it
again with a 238 against a 230.
Well done lads. The two clubs
contest for this shield twice a
year at alternate clubs and is
fiercely fought for.
