So, Super Bowl L1
has come and gone and
I would rank that as one
of the best sports games,
not just football, but
ANY games, I have ever
watched. And I don’t
cheer for either team…I
could easily take or leave
a win by The Falcons or
Pats and not lose one iota
of sleep…with perhaps
the stupidest overtime
rules I have ever heard
in play still nothing
could diminish the
hugely (“yuugely” if you
are President Trump)
entertaining and exciting
game.
It was quite cool to see
Tom Brady become the
most successful Super
Bowl quarterback in
history, not to mention
Bill Belichick become
the winning-est coach
ever in the Super Bowl.
First ever overtime game
in Super Bowl history,
man, one for the ages…
Half time, again
IMHO, was also one
for the ages, Lady Gaga
continues to set the bar
higher and higher for
herself as an entertainer
and continues to hit
it out of the park…
she delivered a very
high-tempo, upbeat,
entertaining show
of continuous action,
dance, costume changes
and fluidity…Great job!
And what do we get to
deal with the day after…
trolls and other idiots on
the Internet and in social
media body-shaming
her and making fun of
her “belly”…Jesus Wept…
we all know, or can rest
assured that most of the
people typing this quips
and insults hide behind
their keyboards, basking
in the anonymity the
Internet affords them,
and bash away at anyone
they want, safe, sound,
and out of sight! Not
likely to be pried out
into the open and hence
brave beyond all belief in
that they are free to spew
their garbage and insults.
I wonder how many
of them are of perfect
6, 8 or 12 pack abs…
buff without compare
and totally fit!?! All I
can say is “Shame on
you…” you sit back and
judge someone who
has done nothing other
than promote her music
and enjoy entertaining
others, indulge in a
bit of necessary selfpromotion
and keep
millions of people
happily tapping and
dabbing along to her
music. The ultimate
entertainer…doing
what she does best…
entertaining her fans!
Notice not the
amazing show put on by
her and her entourage,
no, negative pinheads
who chose to bash her
and her appearance
instead, the new age of
brave self-appointed
critics, half of whom are
likely living in a close
relative’s basement
and not even paying
for their own Internet
connections, let alone
rent.
The world is much too
full of needling, backstabbing,
barb-tossing
anonymous fools as it
is, the rest of the world,
not just the Lady Gagas
but those who venture
forth to do their little
part every day to keep
things going have to
sit by and tolerate the
verbal diarrhoea that
vomits forth from their
fingertips in an ongoing
and endless stream.
Our world finds new
and fascinating ways,
almost daily, to sink to
unfathomable depths
of intolerance and
ignorance and never
ceases to astound me,
even after all these years
of being exposed to the
lunacy that abounds
out there, not just on
the Internet but those
few brave souls who
actually will step forward
and openly profess, by
their words and deeds,
their lack of tolerance,
understanding and just
plain common decency
and sense. Instant Idiot
– just open mouth and
all doubt is removed…I
gotta ramble on now..
