A EUROPEAN LOBSTER can reach an age of about 60 YEARS there is proof of this.
The individual creatures grow at very different speeds.
Fast growing individuals can reach a weight of 500 g already after 4 YEARS;
on average, however, this will probably take 5-6 YEARS.
A weight of 1000g is reached after 6-10 YEARS.
