Gut health is determined by the levels of gut bacteria present. The healthier bacteria present the
better. When unhealthy bacteria start to unsettle, this result in gut dysbiosis.
This simply means that too much bad bacteria are present in the gut. It can include yeast and
parasites and will cause all the symptoms discussed above.
As you can see it is plainly obvious why conditions like depression and mental health issues are on
the rise. Western diets have become predominantly focused on processed foods and junk. The two
are scientifically linked and proven. This is just fact. Results showing improvement in mental health
by simply fixing people diets and fitness are profoundly strong and significantly accurate including
the reverse effects of type two diabetes.
Nowadays you can get professional help and testing carried out by labs all over the country.
However by starting to eat healthily, increasing fibre, nutrients and minerals in your diet you will
start to see profound results in general wellbeing, energy levels and mindset.
A great way to kick-start the gut is to spend a few days introducing smoothies made from organic
fruits and vegetables into your diet, reducing carbs from things like bread, pasta, rice, potatoes,
cakes, sweets and any other sugary treat and making sure your intake of water is sufficient. Eat
organic meats and keep away from all dairy products for 3 – 5 days. There are some great companies
out there, one being Revive in 5 by founder Adam Light that can guide you through a five-day
cleanse. This usually gives the digestive system a break, allowing it to start digesting and absorbing
food correctly. When you revert to normal dieting make sure you are eating healthily and efficiently
whilst following many of the steps outlined in this booklet and you will start to feel far healthier.
Also, including supplements like probiotics into your diet will ensure you are getting sufficient
healthy bacteria daily. However, there are many great supplements out there to help your gut.
So, be aware of the health dangers and the negative effects that processed foods can have on your
wellbeing. The gut, as I’ve stated, is like the second brain. It warns you when something is wrong.
Start listening to your body and begin adjusting your diet to keep it healthy.
