KATY COLOR RUN 5K CHALK IT UP<br />

FOR CHARITIES FUNDRAISER<br />

Join us for the 1 st Katy Color Run 5K on Saturday, <strong>March</strong> 25, <strong>2017</strong> at APEX<br />

Medical Building located at 25722 Kingsland Blvd, Katy, Texas 77494. This<br />

family fun event is a joint fundraiser between Christ Clinic, Clothed by<br />

Faith and Hope Impacts, nonprofits that aid the underserved in the Katy<br />

community. We are anticipating at least 500 people in attendance. The<br />

event will feature a chalk filled, 5K chip-timed run at 8 AM and a Mascot<br />

led 1K Kids Dash to start at 9 AM. In addition to racing fun, participants<br />

can enjoy a post-race party featuring an entertainment stage, a Chalk Art<br />

contest highlighting local artists, fitness demonstrations, Kid Fun Zone<br />

and healthy food vendors. 5K- $25 and 1K- $10 (12 and under.)<br />

Event sponsorship, volunteer opportunities for high school students<br />

and 10x10 vendor space for healthy lifestyle vendors available for $50.<br />

CAUSE AT <strong>2017</strong> FESTIVAL<br />

Festival’s charity partners include Katy Care, Krause Children’s Center,<br />

Helping Kids Ministry and more. The festival is an event for foodies<br />

to experience fare from Katy’s diverse restaurant scene. Emphasis is<br />

on fun for the whole family with a variety of local restaurants, cooking<br />

demonstrations, a large kids zone, a dessert oasis, live entertainment<br />

and a silent auction. The festival will debut at Villagio Town Center on<br />

<strong>March</strong> 4, <strong>2017</strong>, 11 AM-4 PM. Katy Taste Fest has partnered with several<br />

nonprofits that focus on abused, neglected and abandoned children.<br />

Katy Taste Fest supports several Katy non-profit groups, including Katy<br />

Cares, Helping Kids Ministry, Krause Children’s Center and Armor of Hope<br />

Foundation. All proceeds from Katy Taste Fest will benefit Katy nonprofits<br />

SPRING BREAK<br />

HORSEBACK RIDING CAMP<br />

<strong>March</strong> 13-17, <strong>2017</strong>, 9 AM-2 PM each day<br />

We will do horseback riding and activities with our horses, both large and<br />

miniature. We will also be working with farm animals including horses, cows,<br />

pigs, rabbits and chickens and doing other fun activities including games, nature<br />

walks, arts-n-crafts and the best fun is on Friday when we paint the horses!!<br />

• Cost: $250 for the week plus a $30 supply fee. • Must be paid in full<br />

by <strong>March</strong> 1, <strong>2017</strong> after <strong>March</strong> 1 st , there is a $50 late fee. No refunds. •<br />

Children must wear long pants, tucked in shirts, closed toes shoes w/<br />

heels. Each child must bring a lunch and a drink. • You can download the<br />
