KATY COLOR RUN 5K CHALK IT UP
FOR CHARITIES FUNDRAISER
Join us for the 1 st Katy Color Run 5K on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at APEX
Medical Building located at 25722 Kingsland Blvd, Katy, Texas 77494. This
family fun event is a joint fundraiser between Christ Clinic, Clothed by
Faith and Hope Impacts, nonprofits that aid the underserved in the Katy
community. We are anticipating at least 500 people in attendance. The
event will feature a chalk filled, 5K chip-timed run at 8 AM and a Mascot
led 1K Kids Dash to start at 9 AM. In addition to racing fun, participants
can enjoy a post-race party featuring an entertainment stage, a Chalk Art
contest highlighting local artists, fitness demonstrations, Kid Fun Zone
and healthy food vendors. 5K- $25 and 1K- $10 (12 and under.)
Event sponsorship, volunteer opportunities for high school students
and 10x10 vendor space for healthy lifestyle vendors available for $50.

adult clothing, home and yard décor, candles, unique gifts, furniture,
food and much more! Bring the whole family to enjoy live music, kids
activities and delicious food trucks! It’s an event for the whole family!
KATY TASTE FEST SERVING
FUN AND FOOD FOR A GOOD
CAUSE AT 2017 FESTIVAL
Festival’s charity partners include Katy Care, Krause Children’s Center,
Helping Kids Ministry and more. The festival is an event for foodies
to experience fare from Katy’s diverse restaurant scene. Emphasis is
on fun for the whole family with a variety of local restaurants, cooking
demonstrations, a large kids zone, a dessert oasis, live entertainment
and a silent auction. The festival will debut at Villagio Town Center on
March 4, 2017, 11 AM-4 PM. Katy Taste Fest has partnered with several
nonprofits that focus on abused, neglected and abandoned children.
Katy Taste Fest supports several Katy non-profit groups, including Katy
Cares, Helping Kids Ministry, Krause Children’s Center and Armor of Hope
Foundation. All proceeds from Katy Taste Fest will benefit Katy nonprofits

SPRING BREAK
HORSEBACK RIDING CAMP
March 13-17, 2017, 9 AM-2 PM each day
We will do horseback riding and activities with our horses, both large and
miniature. We will also be working with farm animals including horses, cows,
pigs, rabbits and chickens and doing other fun activities including games, nature
walks, arts-n-crafts and the best fun is on Friday when we paint the horses!!
• Cost: $250 for the week plus a $30 supply fee. • Must be paid in full
by March 1, 2017 after March 1 st , there is a $50 late fee. No refunds. •
Children must wear long pants, tucked in shirts, closed toes shoes w/
heels. Each child must bring a lunch and a drink. • You can download the
