<strong>March</strong> 24 th - 26 th - <strong>2017</strong> Bassmaster Classic & Expo. In conjunction<br />
with the Bassmaster Classic in Lake Conroe there will also be an<br />
Expo at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, TX. The<br />
classic will start off with takeoff beginning each day at Lake Conroe<br />
Park at a time to be announced soon. There will be off-site parking<br />
and shuttles for fans wanting to attend. This event is free and<br />
located at Lake Conroe Park, 14968 TX-105, Montgomery, TX 77356.<br />
The Outdoor Expo will take place at the George R. Brown Convention<br />
Center, while Weigh-Ins, will take place at Minute Maid Park, both<br />

been using the Classic Expo as the venue to introduce their newest<br />
products to bass fishing fans. The <strong>2017</strong> Expo will cover more than<br />
300,000 square feet, the largest in Bassmaster Classic history.<br />
<strong>March</strong> 24 th - 26 th - Bayou City Art Festival. Fine juried art by 300<br />
artists and extensive selection of art, representing 18 different<br />
forms of artistic media, festival goers can also enjoy international<br />
food and wine, the Green Mountain Energy Creative Zone offering<br />
interactive art activities, daily outdoor performances and more.<br />
The Festival celebrates the vitality and diversity of Houston and<br />
enriches the city’s arts environment and reputation. Over the past<br />
40 years, the Bayou City Art Festivals have raised more than $2.6<br />

<strong>March</strong> 27 th - April 2 nd - Shell Houston Open. Shell Oil Company<br />
has been the title sponsor for Houston’s PGA TOUR stop since<br />
1992 and charitable donations have been a big part of the<br />
relationship. Houston Golf Association golf-related activities<br />
have generated more than $62 million since 1992 when Shell Oil<br />
Company became title sponsor. Shell Oil Company and Houston<br />
Golf Association are in the final year of a 5-year contract extension<br />
through <strong>2017</strong>. With a 25-year partnership with HGA, Shell is now<br />
the third-longest serving title sponsor on the PGA TOUR. Shell Oil<br />

<strong>March</strong> 31 st -April 2 nd - The Annual Tomball German Heritage<br />
Festival begins the last week in <strong>March</strong> on the Old Downtown<br />
Streets of Tomball Texas near 201 S. Elm Street, Main Street (FM<br />
2920) and Market Street. It is a Music/Street festival celebrating<br />
German and ethnic heritage with 4 stages of live music<br />
entertainment “happy music for happy people,” ethnic and<br />
festival food, beer, wine, 150 street vendors, all kinds of German<br />
souvenirs and clothing, arts crafts, antiques, Heritage Center,<br />
German church service, fireworks, carnival, pony rides, petting<br />
zoo, strolling music makers, street performers and much more.<br />

Through May 29 th - The nationally recognized Mummies<br />
of the World: The Exhibition made its debut at the Houston<br />
Museum of Natural Science on September 24, 2016. Described<br />

extraordinary,” by NPR, “a must see,” by FOX TV and having<br />
been visited by over 1.5 million people nation-wide, Mummies<br />
