KATY AREA RETIRED EDUCATOR VOLUNTEERS IN ACTION<br />
“Be A Volunteer” was the theme for the Katy Area Retired Educators<br />
January meeting featuring a panel presentation on Volunteer<br />
Opportunities in Katy. The Volunteer Organizations featured included<br />
Katy ISD’s KEYS Mentoring, Katy ISD Education Foundation, Krause<br />
Center, Katy Christian Ministries, American Cancer Society’s Relay<br />
for Life, Texana, Texas Children’s Hospital and Westside Homeless<br />
Prevention. On February 8, <strong>2017</strong>, the Katy Area Retired Educators will be<br />
hosting their annual Scholarship Chocolate Auction. All proceeds will<br />
benefit the Beginning Teachers Scholarships for <strong>2017</strong> Katy graduates.<br />

Cub Scouts is a fun way to teach boys about character,<br />

Pack that services the Greater West Houston/Katy<br />
