EVANGELISM MINISTRY (cont’d)
Tracks
During 2016 approximately 30,000 tracts were stamped for distribution.
In addition, to distribution through persons’ one on one contact, tracts were distributed in
all zones as well as though the Six (6) in Five (5) target areas of Brooklyn, Amityville, Bayside,
Flushing, Great Neck and Freeport.
During the JAMS, Jamaica Avenue festival over 3,000 tracts were distributed.
Annual Jamaica Ave, Street Festival:
Over One Hundred (100) members of ANAT, brightly clad in their orange outreach t-shirts
with the inscription “Did you know, Jesus Saves Keeps and Satisfies,” participated in ministry
to the patrons at the Annual JAMS festival.
The group consisted of children and adults, medical professionals, ministers, ministry
workers and leaders.
Our medical professionals checked the blood pressure of over 100 persons; while hundreds
others received free give-aways such as ice, water, seasonings and blood sugar monitors.
Many persons were prayed for under the tent, and the touch of the lord was evident on them.
The “sea of orange” could be also be seen throughout the festival as members walked through the streets handing out tracks while ministering to and praying
for persons that so desired.
North American Missions and Global Missions
On the North American Missions field, ANAT collected an offering and blessed the Open Door Church in Brooklyn, with $3, 000 towards the acquisition of their
new and current building.
We also gave a Christmas for Christ offering of $5,700.
It is our hope that we will have a more structured approach to raising funds for this offering and so be able to provide better “financial support [to]
missionaries who work to establish churches in un-evangelized and under-evangelized areas in North America” (Adopted from UPCI website).
For Global Missions, ANAT supported 23 missionaries .
An additional pledge was made to support Missionary , Craig G Sully, missionaries to Senegal, French West Africa.
ANAT total Partners In Mission (PIM) support for 2016 was $19,800.
ANAT appreciates all those who have pledged, and continue to support missionaries home and abroad through their Faith Promise contributions.
The Evangelism Team thanks Pastor Dawson and the ANAT family for the ability to have served you in the year 2016 and pray that endeavours for 2017 will be improved
and increased thus helping to build on what has been established this year.
