PASTOR’S REPORT (cont’d)
BOARD OF TRUSTEES, BOARD OF ELDERS AND MINISTRY LEADERS
The untiring dedication and commitment of our elected “Board of Trustees, Board of Elders and nine Ministry
Leaders and their Staff are worthy of our thanks, prayer, respect and appreciation.
ANAT VOLUNTARY MINISTRY
All Nations Apostolic Tabernacle is blessed with a dedicated group of men and women who have selflessly volunteered
themselves to provide vital services in the final preparation of the sanctuary before every major service
and events. These faithful ministers are never seen on the stage with a microphone in their hand preaching or
teaching. Their love for God and His Kingdom is the reason they do what they do behind the scene, in season and
out of season. I believe they will be on the “Bema” when the Lord returns for His church. We will pause to recognize
their faithful service in this Annual Meeting.
WAY FORWARD IN 2017
Our theme for 2017 is “More Matters.” It is the vision that we continue to witness more increase in every area of
operation especially in the area of our primary mission of reaching, preaching, winning and reaping the ripening
harvest. The task is undoubtedly great but I am encouraged by the fact that the power behind us is greater than
the task before us.
Our Lord will richly reward your faithful commitment and the sacrificial giving of your time, talent and financial
resources to the cause of the growth and expansion of His Kingdom. The man of God told King Amaziah who was
very concerned about the one hundred talents of silver he paid to hire one hundred thousand men help him in the
war against the Edomites. God was against Judah’s alliance with the Northern Kingdom.
2 Chronicles 25:7–9 (KJV 1900) “But there came a man of God to him, saying, O king, let not the army of Israel go with thee; for the LORD is not with Israel, to wit, with
all the children of Ephraim. But if thou wilt go, do it, be strong for the battle: God shall make thee fall before the enemy: for God hath power to help, and to cast down.
And Amaziah said to the man of God, But what shall we do for the hundred talents which I have given to the army of Israel? And the man of God answered, The LORD
is able to give thee much more than this.”
SINCERE THANKS
It has been a distinct honor and privilege for Joy and I to serve this assembly for the last 23 years. Your prayers, special words of encouragement, gifts and good will
has made the task of pastoring so much lighter. I want to especially thank our children Kesha and Gary, and their children - Kye and Gabe; Shondell and Sean, and
their children - Sean Devon and Lauren as well as the last of the bunch, Devany, for their unconditional love and support.
And so, as we forge ahead into the future, I thank God for the confidence that He has placed in us to continue to build and expand His kingdom. My gratitude
abounds for the courage and strength with which He has equipped us to tackle the challenges. Together we fight the good fight looking to Jesus the Author and Finisher
of our faith, who has caused us to recognize that “More Matters” and with His help, to attain it.
Yours in His Service,
Devon D. Dawson
