Signed and sealed: takeover of
Freudenberg’s cylinder-head and
exhaust system gasket business
ElringKlinger has acquired the “Static Flat Gaskets”
division of the Freudenberg Group. The two parties
to the contract signed the purchase agreement on
30 September 2010. After the closing of the transaction
on 4 January, the new acquisition is to contribute
around EUR 49 million to Group sales in 2011.
