the promotion and development<br />
of small and medium enterprises<br />
in the Free State, especially<br />
those whose scope of production<br />
is related to fashion. Through the<br />
fashion week,the promotion of<br />
tourism businesses such as airlines,<br />
accommodation services,<br />
car dealerships, travel agents,<br />

and accessory makers prevails<br />
by having them as exhibitors at<br />
the event.<br />
Every business needs financial<br />
booster, and FSFW has the Andrew<br />
Scholtz Foundation on the<br />
forefront, essentiall ywith the<br />
soon to be launched fashion<br />
school. The foundation has seen<br />
to it that FSFW’s vision of developing<br />
the Fashion Hub materializes<br />
as they funded the machinery<br />
and other equipment for the<br />
school. Still on finances, the other<br />
benefactors of the event were<br />
from Standard Bank. Their main<br />
objective as highlighted by Will<br />
Tshwene is that they help diversify<br />
the economy in the province<br />
and attract more investors.<br />
As if the event was not alluring<br />
enough, OleLedimo of House<br />
of Ole and a Judge on Raw Silk<br />
Judge(Reality Fashion Show on<br />
Sabc 1) graced the occasion. He<br />
reiterated that the community<br />
ought to support local designers<br />
and grow the fashion market.<br />
He further went on to appeal to<br />
designers to also deliver quality<br />
products in order to be taken seriously.
