<strong>Katy</strong>/Fulshear/<strong>West</strong> Houston/<strong>West</strong>park Beltway<br />
Registration for Fun, Fair, Positive Soccer (FFPS) is open for boys and girls<br />
ages 4 to 18 for the SPRING Season. Games start on <strong>April</strong> 8, <strong>2017</strong>. FFPS is<br />
a non-profit youth soccer program dedicated to providing a positive youth<br />
sports experience for all children. Founded in 1986 in <strong>Katy</strong>, Texas, FFPS has<br />
grown to 22 leagues and 16,000 players throughout the Greater Houston<br />
area. FFPS offers children a fun and fair experience, including one practice<br />
per week, a full uniform and trophy for every player, equal playing time and<br />
play every position, co-ed/balanced teams, positive coaching and more.<br />
No tryouts are required. Go to www.FFPS.org to sign up. Registration fee<br />
includes a full uniform (jersey, shorts and socks), trophy, trained positive<br />
coaches, nice fields and background checks on all volunteers. Coaches will<br />
call players to schedule practice by <strong>April</strong> 4 th . Practice times and location will<br />
be determined by the coach and team. The schedule includes eight games,<br />
played locally on Saturdays, <strong>April</strong> 8 th to May 27 th . Our <strong>Katy</strong> league plays<br />
at George Bush Park - FFPS Soccer Complex (20150 <strong>West</strong>heimer Parkway).<br />
Our Fulshear League plays at Huggins Elementary (No. 1 Huggins Dr). Our<br />
<strong>West</strong> Houston League plays at <strong>West</strong>side High School (14201 Briar Forest).<br />
Our <strong>West</strong>park/Beltway League plays at Quillian Center (10570 <strong>West</strong>park<br />
Dr). Our Spring Branch/Memorial League plays at St. Andrew Lutheran<br />

KATY CANOE & KAYAK CLUB (KC/KC)<br />
Join a non-profit club - free of charge. We meet every 3 rd Wednesday of<br />
each month at 24638 Kingsland Blvd., <strong>Katy</strong> TX 77494. We post different<br />
water trips and outdoor adventures on the Meet Up Group Website.<br />
Don’t know if you prefer to canoe or kayak? Don’t buy something just to<br />
buy it… try out different boats. These trips will help you decide what you<br />
like or if you even like to paddle. We can help! We have years of water<br />
sports adventures under our belts. We don’t sell boats or boat gear, but<br />
we do have kayaks and canoes and/or we know people who have kayaks<br />
and canoes. Must be at least 21 years of age to borrow a kayak or canoe (ID<br />
Required). Must be at least 18 years of age to join (ID Required). No minors<br />

The <strong>Katy</strong> Area Running<br />
Club is a 501(c)3 non-profit<br />
corporation which exists to<br />
serve people living in and<br />
around <strong>Katy</strong>, Texas who<br />
have an interest in running.<br />
We are a community<br />
of people of all ages,<br />
backgrounds, heritages and<br />
abilities who share a common interest - running! Our focus is on group runs,<br />
having fun, socializing and sharing our knowledge and experience with our<br />
members and the public. We welcome all who are interested in joining us.<br />
We have a full calendar of runs, events and socials. We hold group runs<br />
every Saturday morning at the Sergeant Hatch Sports Park off the south<br />
I-10 feeder road just east of Barker Cypress Rd. On Tuesdays (5 AM and 6:30<br />
PM) we meet at the Cinco Ranch Junior High Track for speedwork and on<br />
Thursday (6:30 PM) we meet at Crosspoint Community Church for tempo<br />

TENNIS ORGANIZATION FOR THE KATY AREA<br />
<strong>Katy</strong> Area Tennis (KAT) is the newest, non-profit tennis organization<br />
meeting the needs of all tennis players in the <strong>Katy</strong> area. Our goal is to<br />
provide a wide range of programming for tennis players as well as to<br />
promote the game in the <strong>Katy</strong> area. Registration is currently open for a<br />
variety of leagues, ladders and tournaments that include singles, doubles<br />

TRACK HOUSTON YOUTH TRACK CLUB<br />
Track Houston is the nation’s largest and most successful youth track and<br />
field organization. Our goal is to assist interested boys and girls ages 6<br />
to18 years old in improving their physical fitness and mental stamina. We<br />
have 2 Cross Country practice sites in the greater Houston area. Memorial<br />
