Community
Partnerships
Goodwill could not do what it does without the tremendous support
of community organizations. We partner with hundreds of local
employers, offering trained, ready to work staff for a variety of jobs.
Organizations also support Goodwill by partnering with Go2 Services,
which offers businesses quality property management and contract
services at a competitive price.
Volunteers change lives
Volunteers are central to Goodwill’s ability
to make a difference in lives of people who
need help. In 2011, volunteers donated
their time at retail stores and in our
e-commerce business. They served as
financial literacy tutors, job readiness
instructors and assistants in the job
resources room and computer lab.
In addition, volunteers provided support
to a variety of departments within
Goodwill’s administrative offices. Many
also took advantage of internship
opportunities throughout the organization.
Goodwill employees give back
Employees at Goodwill believe that offering a hand up is what
we all need to do. Employees demonstrate their commitment
inside and outside of work, with an exceptional dedication
to the mission – they volunteer at the retail stores and
special events and help people in times of crisis. In addition,
employees also support the mission or their personal charity
through the employee giving fund.
