Steeped in over 2000 years of history, Chichester is a delightful destination. Dominated by the 900<br />
year old Cathedral the town has many fine buildings and also offers the visitor excellent shopping.<br />
Our day out also includes a visit to the charming town of Arundel which hugs the River Arun. It's<br />
the perfect place to have a wander and afternoon tea surrounded by lovely countryside. You may<br />

Friday 11th<br />
Windsor River Cruise with delicious Ploughman's lunch<br />

After leaving Windsor Promenade at 11.00am we enjoy excellent views of Windsor Castle and<br />
Eton College. After passing Windsor racecourse, the boat goes through Boveney Lock and passes<br />
Sutherland Grange, The Willows and Bray Film Studios. It then heads towards Oakley Court,<br />
Queen's Eyot and Monkey Island where the boat turns for the journey back to Windsor arriving at<br />
1.30pm. While you take in the beautiful scenery of the Royal River Thames, you will be served a delicious cheese & ham Ploughman's lunch with Slice of Cake & Tea.<br />
Afterwards there will be plenty of free time in Windsor. Price include lunch & boat fare. Adult/Over 60 £42.50, Under 16 £15.00.<br />

Friday 11th Monkey World ROUTE Y<br />
Set amongst the Dorset woodland, Monkey World has been offering a sanctuary for abused primates since 1987. Not only are they doing excellent work but they offer a lovely<br />
day out for the visitor. The centre has a wide range of primates including Chimpanzees, Orang-utans, Gibbons, Capuchin Monkeys, Marmosets and much more. Come along<br />
and enjoy these fascinating creatures - you may also be able to listen to one of the Specialist Talks during our visit. Facilities include a Café and Gift Shop and you can also<br />
help the centre by adopting a Monkey. You can’t bring one back on the coach though! Entrance fee included. Adult £23.00, Over 60/Under 16 £18.00<br />
Thursday 17th Horse Drawn Canal Boat & Marlborough ROUTE A<br />
Step back in time with us, as we head first to one of our favourite stopping places, Marlborough. This archetypal English Market town has that 'film location' quality and is a<br />
great spot to stroll around and enjoy a nice lunch. In the afternoon we head to nearby Kintbury and board the 'Kennet Valley' horse drawn barge for a 2 ½ hour cruise along<br />
the beautiful Kennet & Avon Canal. This wide beam passenger boat was purpose built for carrying passengers and is powered solely by the towing action of the horse making<br />
for a tranquil journey. Facilities onboard include a well stocked bar serving tea, coffee, soft drinks and beverages.<br />
Whilst on board we have included a cup of tea & slice of cake for you!<br />

Monday 21st Isle of Wight Tour with local guide<br />

ONE OF OUR MOST POPULAR DAYS. After joining the ferry from Lymington we will<br />
be joined by one of our local guides for a tour of the Island – we try to see as much as<br />
possible during the day. The island boasts 60 miles of spectacular coastline and<br />
beautiful countryside. We take in many of the best sights and usually include Newport,<br />
Sandown, Godshill, Shanklin, Ventnor, Freshwater and Alum Bay. There will be a main<br />
stop for lunch. A great day out. Adult/Over 60 £30.00, Under 16 £15.00<br />
Monday 21st Sidmouth ROUTE Z<br />
Situated on the Jurassic Coast of Devon, Sidmouth has a unique charm and an<br />
atmosphere of years gone by. Set in a lush valley and surrounded by the stunning red<br />
cliffs, Sidmouth is one of our most popular destinations. Around the town there are<br />
beautiful gardens where you can relax a while, leisurely walks and a delightful level<br />
Esplanade with views along the coastline. There are some excellent friendly<br />
independent shops in Sidmouth, and a range of cafes, restaurants and pubs. The<br />
delightful regency architecture adds to the unique atmosphere of this lovely town - a<br />
gem. Come along and step back in time.........a great day out at the British Seaside.<br />

Kennet Horse Boat<br />
Founded in 1753, the world famous British Museum is one of London’s top attractions.<br />
The museum covers many aspects, with works on display gathered from around the world from prehistoric to modern times. Highlights include the Rosetta<br />
Stone, the Parthenon sculptures and the mummies in the Ancient Egypt collection. Come along and see the amazing Great Court, now covered by an iconic glass roof<br />
designed by Norman Foster - the largest covered public square in Europe. Located in the Bloomsbury area of central London, entrance to the museum is free. Donations are<br />
gratefully received and some special exhibitions will have an extra charge. Facilities include excellent catering options and a large gift shop.<br />

Tuesday 29th Blenheim Palace – Oxfordshire ROUTE A<br />
Set in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds, awe-inspiring Blenheim Palace is one of the finest 18th Century Baroque<br />
houses in Britain, built on a grand scale in 2100 acres of parkland landscaped by Capability Brown and<br />
beautiful formal gardens. Famously the birthplace of Winston Churchill and the setting for many feature<br />
films, the interior has a superb collection of tapestries, paintings, porcelain and furniture. Price includes<br />

Tuesday 29th Oxford – City of Dreaming Spires ROUTE A<br />
Oxford, the 'city of dreaming spires' is steeped in a rich and fascinating history. Famous for its prestigious<br />
Oxford University, the city is very pedestrian friendly; a bustling cosmopolitan place with a lovely riverside<br />
setting and a lively mix of restaurants, bars and superb shopping. The Radcliffe Camera, Bodleian Library<br />
and Bridge of Sighs make up just a few of the famous picturesque buildings of Oxford. Its charming scenery<br />
has been the inspiration for many, including Lewis Carroll and J.R.R Tolkien. There are also many<br />
recognisable scenes from popular films such as Harry Potter and TV series like Inspector Morse. Come<br />

Wednesday 30th Dorchester Market & Weymouth ROUTE Y<br />
Lovely day out as we visit our historic county town in the heart of 'Hardy's country and boasting elegant 18th<br />
century houses, interesting museums, good shopping and a great Market on Wednesdays. Afterwards we<br />
travel to Weymouth with time in this rejuvenated traditional seaside resort. The wide award winning three<br />
mile beach has beautiful sand and a level promenade with traditional facilities to enjoy. In the town there is a<br />
great selection of shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs or why not enjoy some takeaway fish and chips. Head<br />
to the harbour lined by Georgian houses and watch the fishing boats. Good value day out.<br />

Wednesday 30th Highclere Castle - Downton Abbey ROUTE(<br />
Set in over 1000 acres of stunning 18th century parkland designed by Capability Brown and home of the<br />
Earl of Carnarvon, Highclere has been described as the finest Victorian House in existence and now, of<br />
course, is known all around the world, as the home of Downton Abbey. Created by Sir Charles Barry who<br />
also designed the Houses of Parliament, the castle has a magnificent library and drawing room with the<br />
highlight being The Saloon with its 50ft vaulted ceilings. Outside, you can explore the beautiful gardens and<br />
parkland. Tearoom on site & café for lunch - alternatively you may like to bring food for lunch. Very limited<br />
