On the northern side of the equinoctial line on which
human existence is stationed in this life, is the Gwynvyd,
or Heaven, of the Druids. When the sun has ascended
northwards of the celestial equinoctial line in spring, he
gradually increases in glory, power, and majesty, and the
earth under his influence blooms, and scatters fragrance, and
is a veritable garden of the Lord ! The earth is then '' a land
flowing with milk and honey."

words :— " Thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into
heaven ; I will exalt my Throne above the stars of God ; I
will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides
of the north;
I will ascend above the heights of the clouds;
I will be like the Most High."
