Emcools develops and produces a simple yet powerful non-invasive
system for easy, efficient, patient cooling to induce mild therapeutic
hypothermia, thus reducing the chances of the life-threatening consequence,

The surface cooling device emPAD can be easily applied both in hospital
and pre-hospital in about 2 minutes, simplifying the cooling chain.
No capital equipment or power is required during cooling making mobile
and cost efficient patient cooling a reality. The high-tech emPAD
offers fast and safe cooling with patients reaching the target temperature
of 33°C on average 91 minutes after ROSC1.
