What to do
Festivals & Flowers
The lucky kids of Dalston get their own flower
show – but you don't have to be a Dalstonite
to enjoy this fabulous event. This year kids can
also join in the Dalston Children’s Festival, with
events and activities taking place all over the
neighbourhood on Saturdays 28 May and 4 June.
Download the programme for the Children’s
Festival at dalstonchildren.org.uk
On Saturday 28 May, children can bake their own
pizzas in the Dalston Curve Garden’s wood-fired
oven with chef David from Latto’s Pizzas (12-3pm),
join textile artists Emamoke Ukeleghe and Yemi
Awosile to make their own Botanical Bag, inspired
by the garden and sow lots of lovely flower seeds
to help keep the butterflies and bees happy this
summer.
Join Cbeebies actor Samantha Seager
(Bobby, Me Too!) and her team
for fun filled, interactive drama
and storytelling sessions
for 2-5 year olds at one of our
classes in Stoke Newington,
Clapton or Victoria Park
