CIVIC WELFARE TRAINING SERVICE <br />
NSTP may have seemed like nothing but an additional course that was easily taken <br />
for granted. Perhaps, we may have even thought of it as added stress. Maybe it even <br />
crossed our minds that we wouldn't get anything out of NSTP. But in fact, if there is anything <br />
NSTP can teach us it is how to be a more active member of the community. <br />
It is through NSTP that we can put all these values to practice. We can still continue <br />
doing these things through our own ways, but NSTP was definitely the eye-‐opener that we <br />
needed. Because of NSTP, we are now more aware of what exactly is happening to our <br />
country. It is as if we have finally had the opportunity to really step out of our comfort zones <br />
and open our eyes to see how much more we need to do in order for us to truly be <br />
considered as good citizens. The help that we have provided through NSTP is only a chapter <br />
for us. There is still so much more we can do. Let us not allow NSTP to be perhaps the first <br />
and last opportunity for us to extend our help to our fellow countrymen and of course to <br />
our country itself. Let us always practice the values of good citizenship. <br />
