Service and
Outreach
Remember there
are still many
people and organizations
that
continue to depend
on our generosity.
Your donations
of canned and dry
foods in addition to
personal hygiene
items are still very
important.
Collection baskets
can be found at the
front of the church
during Sunday services
and collection
bins are located at
the main entrance
doors for drop off
during the week.
Your efforts are
appreciated.
Festival of Gifts
dDon’t miss the chance to experience CCC’s annual Festival of Gifts. Our acolytes will participate
in this traditional pageant, filling nativity roles and reading Bible passages to reenact the
Christmas story complemented by live animals such as sheep and goats.
The Festival of Gifts gives parishioners an opportunity to share their Christmas joy by bringing
new and unwrapped gifts to
the cradle of the Christ Child to
be distributed to human service
agencies. Some suggestions for gifts
include warm clothing for all ages,
toys, games, books for children,
hats, gloves or mittens, toiletries,
and gifts of money to support these
agencies. This is a good opportunity
for families to shop together and
talk about why we give to others
You can enjoy the Festival of
Gifts on Saturday, December 12
at the 5 PM service or Sunday,
December 13 at the 10 AM
service.
Saint Nick & Tree Trimming Party
t This is a genuine family event you won’t want to miss! Saint Nick’s Tree Trimming party
will take place Sunday, December 6, in the Hospitality Center after the 10 AM service.
Saint Nick will greet children and read stories. Children will enjoy creating Christmas
ornaments and can hang them on the tree themselves. There will also be a cookie
decorating activity.
Families can feel free to either purchase an ornament for the tree, create one at home, or
create one at the party. Don’t miss it!
